Popular iOS Jailbreak Tweaks Repository On Cydia Gets A Refresh

New Year’s Eve done, rolls around some people like to make some pretty drastic changes. Makes purchase of new Phones, looks for new jobs, and also make a promise to stop bad habits like smoking, drinking and whatever they are been addicted of. Jailbreakers expecting to wake up to a newly-redesigned BigBoss repository on Cydia were few and far between, though.

Anyone who has been thumbling through Cydia today will have very likely noticed, that’s exactly what we got. Refreshed look, the BigBoss repository is one of the most popular tweaks stations around, probably because it hosts all of the biggest jailbreak apps on the planet and is essentially the go-to place for jailbreaker to get their fix. It’s configured by default in all new Cydia installations and it has had a new lick of paint to celebrate the new year.

Once you load Cydia and have a look at a tweak hosted on BigBoss’s repository, you’ll notice the old iOS version long gone and in comes a cleaner, more modern and flat design. With new font and additional information such as the update date for tweaks will be welcome additionas for many. Overall it’s much more neat and well organized now than it was earlier.

To many, BigBos is Cydia, and don’t want to miss the changes that have come about today. They won’t change the way your tweaks work, and you not going to gain any special powers overnight, but you’ll sure have something nicer to look at when downloading your next jailbreak tweak. Better tahn yesterday’s, right?

Just hoping the jailbreak developer community continues to roll out New Year surprises (iOS 9.2 jailbreak, anyone?) in coming days. Apart that there are plenty of new and amazing tweaks, jailbreak apps and system perks, but interface and design revamps for the existing apps, tweaks and repos that we’ve grown to love are always a welcome sight. I like these iOS 9 themes and the list of best iPhone themes of 2015 for your jailbroken devices.
