Samsung Galaxy S8 Specs And Design In Two Models Tipped Again

The rumor bandwagon is once again given the clues for the Samsung Galaxy S8, with sources touting the phone’s display being as large as the infamous Galaxy Note 7 for one of the two models, with the second model sporting even larger display size and design.

Straight out of South Korea, tipped about Samsung looking to introduce the Galaxy S8 in two different screen sizes simply like the current Galaxy S7/S7 Edge, but with the screen sizes increased to 5.7 and 6.2-inches. One of which screen sizes rumored to be offering a bezel-less display.

As of now the Galaxy Note 7 having suffered an embarrassing series of withdrawal from the market following a number of self-combusting cases, also believed that Samsung could be looking to drop the ‘Note’ line-up of phones altogether following an irreparable damage to the Note brand. A move by Samsung to offer a 5.7-inch Galaxy S8 would cater for Galaxy Note aspirants.

About the 6.2-inch Galaxy S8, there is no doubt that Samsung prepping for the Note 7 fiasco and such would like to offer something extra with the 6.2″ model of Galaxy S8.

The Samsung 2017 flagship models to have number – SM-G950 and SM-G955, expected that the company will skip the flat screen variant and thus go with the curved display for both the Galaxy S8 models. Originates a thinner bezel and to come with an all new AI digital assistant service.

It will be interesting to see how consumers of the current Galaxy S lineup will react to a 5.7-inch or 6.2-inch Galaxy S8. While the phone size is expected to be drastically increased, especially with the larger 6.2-inch model, Samsung has done well when it has come to screen-to-body ratio of its smartphones, and if the recent launch of the Xiaomi Mi Mix anything to consider, Samsung could reveal an edge-to-edge display on the S8 lineup with almost zero bezel just like Xiaomi’s offering.

Speaking of Galaxy S8 displays, are expected to pack Edge displays, with resolution increased from 2K to 4K as Samsung is looking to further advance its VR experience. There are also rumors of the phone packing a dual-lens camera setup like the iPhone 7 Plus, but it could exclusive to the larger mammoth sized 6.2-inch Galaxy S8 model.

Also Samsung pulling the 3.5mm headphone jack from the S8, while more aspiring rumors also suggests the embedding of the Home button / fingerprint scanner right into the display itself, just like what Apple’s rumored to do with edgeless iPhone 8.

As for availability, Samsung reportedly to launch Galaxy S8 in March next year and it isn’t rushing its next flagship lineup.
