The keyboard Gboard for Android allowing users to loom for GIfs, emojis, information and more within the app.

The best part here to talk about Gboard app is that the Google Search integration works with all the apps, which is located on the top right, just above the keyboard. Tapping on the icon brings new search tap where you can type in your query. By default, the app offers users three search suggestions – “At what time does the sun set?, Weather, and News.” Another thing to speak about would that if you’re in the middle of the conversation on WhatsApp and talking about something to eat like Pizza, and you simply tap on the search icon and type ‘pizza’. This will return some suggestion nearby such as a “pizza hut delivery”, “pizza hut coupons” and “pizza hut near you”.

Followed by a list of pizza outlets around you is submitted. Tap on the one you like to ordering from. It will give you full info on where the place including ratings, business hours, contact number, directions and of course, option to order using Zomato, if applicable. Just below that, you will also see a share option to quickly send it to the recipient.

While the Google Search feature is also versatile on Gbaord for Android app. For instance, if you want to check the spelling or meaning of that word you type before sending it to the receiver, this feature works better than ever. By the way, you can also send GIFs and emojis within the conversation. In the past, it required you to download a standalone app such as ‘Giphy‘ to copy the emoji icons and send. Now that, there’s an additional option for that not going to add third-party emojis right into the app. With GIF search within the Gboard, you no longer need to install another keyboard app for Android.

As it’s been a re-branded version of Google Keyboard app, there’s still other interesting features present in the app. This includes slide to type, mic icon for voice detection, and one handed mode which shrinks the keyboard side to make it perfectly easier to type in with one hand. It also gets support for Keyboard themes which lets you choose from the pre-defined keyboard themes section, or can use one of the photos as to customize it as or set as a theme background for the Gboard. Keyboard for Android also has an option to turn number row to appear on top of the keyboard. Without opening a browser, Gboard keyboard lets you search for GIFs, places, emojis and places on your smartphone itself.

You will also be getting support for 36 different languages with the new Gboard keyboard app on your Android powered devices. Be fair!
