Apple has made available for download iOS 10.2 beta 1 to developers registered on the Apple Developer Program. Just iterated after releasing iOS 10.1.1 IPSW files for compatible iPhone, iPad or iPod touch devices, which was a bug fix update that caused in Health app.

This new beta 1 version of iOS 10.2 update follows the public release of iOS 10.1.1 bug fixer which was issued earlier for all the supported devices. The new iOS 10.2 beta seed, gives developers and testers the opportunity to interact with new features that have been added in this release.

Possibly there are new forward-facing user changes on the way and if those are discovered we’ll update this post accordingly. First of all, it’s worth pointing out that iOS 10.2 may not contain a ton of new features, like what were bundled into the initial release of iOS 10. Still for a 10.2 update, it may contain a few like iOS 10.1.

It comes with usual bug fixes and security patches. With the initial iOS 10.0.x release, Apple introduced a whole host of new features that took the wholesale platform to the next level. Changes to the native Messages app were introduced, bringing all full-screen and other effects, complete with a built-in iMessages App Store that allows new apps and sticker packs to be quickly installed. With new rich notification system, the new mapping system, and th 100s of other changes made, and you will find yourself with a developing platform that genuinely compliments the power of iPhone and iPad.

Apple also added Portrait mode with iOS 10.1 release for iPhone 7 Plus which could best make use of the dual-lens camera system present in the device. Only a week after iOS 10.1 was released to public, and few hours after iOS 10.1.1 was outed, Apple has now dropped first beta of iOS 10.2.

Anyone registered on Apple Developer Program can get the over-the-air update from Settings > General > Software Update section of the device. The IPSW file for iOS 10.2 can also be downloaded from for a fresh clean install using iTunes.
