Download iOS 9.2 Final Links For iPhone And iPda [IPSW]

Apple has released the final IPSW links of iOS 9.2 for iPhone, iPad, iPod touch devices, brings numerous bug fixes, adds 3D Touch for iBooks, updates to music, Podcasts, News with Arabic Siri and iPhone SD Card reader support.

After sveral beta versions of testing, finally it is time to download iOS 9.2 final on compatible devices. The point update so far has included improvements to Safari mixed up with an improved Safari View Controller for viewing websites within apps and easily dismissing them afterwards. Addition of Arabic language support with the Siri voice assistant added for the first time, and more.

Previously, the iOS 9.2 betas also included  AT&T’s new NumberSync feature for iPhone subscribers on their network. Feature allows you to see your other connected devices to send and receive text messages and make phone calls using a number even when your iPhone isn’t nearby. But unfortunately, recent beta versions have removed the feature, nevertheless – NumberSync isn’t set to launch until early next year.

iOS 9.2 released today is packed with bug fixes and performance improvements as you would have expected, but alongside, are a couple of inclusions thatwere previously unavailable in iOS 9.1 but have been deemed as part of early betas of iOS 9.2. Apple has also packed in an update to the hardware front as well, where the new and improved Lightning to SD Card reader on both new and old, allowing photographers and videographers to shoot photos and videos from dedicated cameras and import them to iPhones for the first time now supported on all iOS 9 compatible devices.

For those of you who are jailbroken on iOS 9.0-9.0.2, it is important to note that just like iOS 9.1, the new iOS 9.2 firmware is not jailbreakable either. If you are on iOS 9.0 to 9.0.2 and care about jailbreaking, Do Not update to iOS 9.2 final yet. Of course, if you’re running your device on iOS 9.1 though, it is probably best to update to iOS 9.2 with no jailbreak access.

To update to iO 9.2, you can manually use Apple’s Over-The-Air (OTA) update mechanism by navigating to Settings > General > Software Update on your device and updating from there, or can restore/update using iTunes.
