The last major iTunes update release was version 12.7 and rolled out alongside iOS 11 back in September this year. It made big changes to how the software worked by notably dropping support for built-in App Store for iOS apps. The update, however, removed categories for apps, iTunes U, Internet Radio, Ringtones, and Books on Windows. Though it still maintains and makes available for download a special version of iTunes (v12.6.3) with built-in App Store and ringtone management support for its iPhone and iPad customers in businesses and special needs.

iTunes 12.7.2 can be downloaded from, or directly through different software update solution found in both Windows (Apple Software Update Utility) and macOS (Mac App Store) platforms.
