Download: Pokemon Go 1.27.4 / 0.57.4 Released. Here’s What Is New

You are now able to download the latest Pokemon Go update 1.27.4 for iOS and 0.57.4 for Android. Here’s what has changed in the new update.

A small update is making its way out to users as of today, the latest to amazingly successful Pokemon Go is now live and the relevant App Stores. Developer Niantic Labs has pushed the game to version 1.27.3 and 0.57.4 for iOS and Android respectively, meaning tablet and smartphone owners can grab the latest updates right now over at the iOS App Store or Google Play Store to easily take advantage of the latest augmented reality experience.

Niantic Labs, as a company behind the iteration has already proven itself extremely capable when it comes to supporting, mainlining, and taking the Pokemon Go experience the next level.

Since its original launch, the title has had a multitude of updates and releases, bringing with it an array of new features, as well as adding a selection of minor improvements and patches to fix critical and non-critical issues. Those upgrades have ensured that Trainers continuously keeping track of the game on a daily basis, but also that new players are enticed into downloading the title on the back of that support.

The latest release will be another example of that continued commitment to progression, but is somewhat of an understated push compared to others of late, especially the recent Gen 2 update. Rather than taking the opportunity to introduce a ton of new inclusions, the latest update to the iOS and Android versions of the game is purely about introducing very little, very minor fixes that should hopefully so someway to actually improving the overall experience for those using the game.

Recently, Niantic mostly probably focused on Android performance improvements to reduce loading times from launch, and it’s likely that there’s continuation of that with the release although the accompanying changelog is simply defined as “minor text fixes.’

In this case that Niantic will push out some typically relatively small fixes and improvements whilst its engineers are working on something impressive behind-the-scenes. If that’s still the fact, then it would potentially suggest that the next release should actually include something tangible for Trainers to be more happily put them into whilst interacting with the game.

For those with an iPhone, iPad, or a smartphone or tablet device powered by the Android platform, the latest version of Pokemon Go is available to grab right now as a free update from the iOS App Store or Google Play.
