Electra RC 1.3 Jailbreak With Cydia iOS 11 Support Available Now For Devs

This is the second time, CoolStar has made available Electra RC 1 Cydia-bundled iOS 11 to 11.1.2 jailbreak for developers. Here are the details.

The first version of Electra RC1 has already been released for developers a few days ago and has today pushed out a new RC 1.3 version of iOS 11 jailbreak to the same set to developers in order from them to get their tweaks and apps ready for iOS 11.x before public release.

Just yesterday we have posted a topic regarding Electra RC 1.3 public release, but the same version also went live for developer only. This release of Electra comes at the time when one of the developers who had the official RC1 copy from CoolStar leaked it into the wild.

CoolStar and others have recommended everyone to stay away from the leaks because the leak appears to be a modified version which “uses a bootleg half-assed attempt to re-create our bootstrap tar.” Using it might also send your iOS 11.1.2 device into a continuous bootloop, forcing you to update to iOS 11.2.5.

As we advise the same. Stay away from any such leaks of Electra RC1 circulating on the world wide web as far as possible.

Coming back to Electra RC 1.3 release, which also been rolling out to developers Cydia-bundled, are progressing. Given how fast things are becoming, it shouldn’t be too late now anyway before it’s made available to the public.
