Epic Games is now celebrating Fortnite’s birth anniversary on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Switch, iPhone/iPad, Android and other mobile platforms. Fortnite 5.10 has been released across all of the major platforms, which Epic Games has made it the next main update to the game.
For those Fortnite gamers who love nothing more than utter devastation should, in all honesty, be everyone given the nature of the gameplay. Version 5.10 update introduces a brand new compact submachine gun which was teased and promised prior to this official release actually going into production.
Epic Games’ has also confirmed the return of the Fortnite Playground Limited Time Mode (LTM) in the post-release notes, which will go live from July 25.
While this is to be the third SMG which has been added into the Fortnite mixed world content in the last few months and will undoubtedly delight those work like a decent and comprehensive set of weapons to choose from. New team select options are a part of Fortnite v5.10, too. Players can now switch terms in-game. Join the same team to work together creatively, join separate teams to practice fighting each other. What’s important to note here is that Voice chat will remain on across all teams, future iterations of the mode will offer more customization.
This should definitely start to mix up a gamer’s ability to hand themselves in close quarters combat. Along with that initial SMG tease, Epic had also teased the fact that Slurp Juice would become more authentic with a future update. Fixes to the Nintendo Switch and iOS versions of Fortnite are also a part of the patch. Understandably include using Fortnite Nintendo Switch gyro motion to rotate around the roll instead of the yaw.
Especially, this allows Switch owners to hold the device in any situation and always have the motion to react according to the screen direction instead of being in the Switch’s world space. As for Fortnite iOS, downloading patches will now continue when you switch to a different app. After successfully completing downloads, you’ll receive a notification.
Update 5.10 is that future update. Consuming that new Surp Juice will now add 1 health point for every 0.5 seconds up to a total of 75 points. For instance, if you have a full health, then your shield will be appended by up to 74 points instead. As aforementioned, Epic has also used version 5.10 update to reintroduce the Playground mode which comes with squad battles and continuous matches which aren’t prematurely short in one person cuts off or jumps ship.
If you manage to push out 1,000 damage to opponents then you shall be rewarded with a Fortnite Birthday emoticon. So if you manage to play 14 matches then you will get 5,000 XP, and there are even rewards in place if you manage to complete all of the birthday celebration challenges. Those who are playing it on mobile, you’re going to get new buttons available in the HUD layout as well as the ability to download patches in the background while you flick in and out of other installed apps.
