Everything you need to know about the nouvelle GoPro Hero5 specifications, price and release date, including reviews and impressions are right here. GoPro is although working on its next-generation action camera. Some photos and a user manual for the upcoming GoPro Hero 5 have allegedly leaked, tipping at voice commands incoming. Live images of the GoPro Hero 5 have been surfaced in various leaks, showing a camera that looks like a hybrid between the Hero 4 and Hero Session cameras, will focus hardly on GoPro’s upcoming cloud service ‘GoPro Plus,’ and may feature voice commands.

According to the leaks by a Japanese blog Nokisthia posted GoPro 5 photos, the camera has a GoPro logo on the back portion along side a touch screen. But later subsequently pulled from the blog, nevertheless the folks at Mirrorless Rumors grabbed some screenshots. That’s how we come to share these real life photos and an alleged schematic for the unreleased action cam, Hero 5.

It seems the GoPro Hero 5 camera will probably be waterproof out-of-the-box, given the rounded edges and rubberized look, it will appear to feature a touch screen display, or else looks very similar to the aging Hero 4. Previous video leak already showed the UI on the GoPro Hero 5, which has a rectangular screen and the design is a bit different from current GoPro cameras.

In addition to the leaked photos and schematic, there’s still Hero 5 user manual points to a few interesting features like voice commands and focus on cloud connectivity. The front side of the gadget is marked with “PVT3,” which otherwise means production validation test 3 and suggests GoPro is prepping to manufacture the camera in action on a large scale.

The GoPro Plus, a cloud service will apparently be a big move in this direction to become “more than hardware”. If the leaked manual is legitimate, users will be able to automatically upload footage to this new GoPro’s cloud service by simply plugging in their camera and letting it charge up to full. Once the footage is uploaded, you’ll be able to download it to your mobile or desktop devices for editing using one GoPro’s applications. Likely there will be some auto-editing capability built-in as well, something GoPro calls it “Storyteller”.

It looks bigger than previous GoPro Hero cameras and Hero 5 measures 62mm x 44.6mm x 32.7mm. And will come equipped with a Super Suit that helps GoPro Hero 5 submerge in water up to 10 feet. Color variations are really active here, as per the leaked images it looks like GoPro is going to offer an all Black rubber look for the new Hero 5 rather than the Silver/Black combination.

Not over yet, it also sees some evidence that the Hero 5 will feature voice commands like “GoPro Turn On”, “GoPro Take a Photo,” and “GoPro Shoot Burst”. Particularly, the “That was Sick” command seems to be written in different Font, suggesting someone is faking at least some of the info in the leaked “manual”.
