HTC was long rumored in 2014 that it’s developing a smartwatch, actually known as the HTC One Wear and in 2016, known as the Petra. Another HTC smartwatch rumored in different angle and speculated to be introduced at this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
Details on that are scarce at the moment, but expected that the HTC One smartwatch will be integrated with Under Armour’s fitness service. With GPS-enabled wearable tracker at MWC 2015, HTC has introduced Grip in partnership with Under Armour. The Taiwan-based smartphone maker confirmed that the wrist fitness tracker will finally hit the store shelves in Q1 of 2016.
Sonce The One M10 “Perfume” is rumored to be introduced at an event in London on 11th April, HTC is also expected to unveil its One smartwatch and put it on for sale by the end of the month. While the HTC One M10 to go on sale in the US only in the second week of May and about the smartwatch news, we have to wait until what HTC has planned for the event. It’s an Android Wear-powered device with 360x360px display, and is codenamed Halfbeak.
