After unveiling Nova and Nova Plus at IFA 2016 event in Berlin, Huawei has announced MediaPad M3, the company’s latest MediaPad tablet. Here is everything you get with the the new hardware right after its official release sometime in October 2016.
Starting September 26th, the MediaPad M3 will be available in several European markets, including United Kingdom (UK), as well as parts of Asia and the Middle East.
Features and Specifications
The Huawei MediaPad M3 comes in Gold and Silver colors. Featuring an 8.4-ich WQXGA IPS 2K display, the screen resolution of 2560×1600 pixels comes with 400nits brightness. It is powered by an Octa-Core Kirin 950 chipset (2.3GHz 4 x A72 + 1.8GHz 4 x A53), 16nm processor and paired with Mali-T880 MP4 GPU.
Huawei’s new MediaPad M3 tablet is coupled with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM and goes on sale in 32GB or 64GB storage variants, which is further expandable up to 128GB microSD card. It runs on Huawei Emotion UI 4.1 on top of Android Marshmallow. With a whole metal unibody design, the MediaPad M3 comes equipped with a Fingerprint sensor on the Home button, below the display.
The MediaPad M3 carries the same 8MP fixed focus rear-facing camera, and the same 8-megapixel on its front. Integrated with Harman Kardon-certified stereo speakers, SWS 3.0 stereo sound effect, the MediaPad M3 gives you a clear audio experience as the overall. It supports 4G LTE connectivity, offering Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.1 for sync and pairing and GPS for location tracking.
Interestingly, the MediaPad M3 is backed up with a 5100mAh battery. It is priced at 349 Euros (US$ 388 / Rs. 26050 approx) for the 32GB WiFi model. The 32GB/64GB LTE model of MediaPad M3 are priced at 399 Euros ($444/Rs. 29,780) and 449 Euros that translates to US$ 500 or Rs. 33,510 approximately.
