The newly announced Meizu Blue Charm Metal will initially be available in China only, because it’s the smartphone that runs on Alibaba’s YunOS with FlyMe UI on top.
The Chinese company’s first smartphone, Meizu Blue Charm Metal comes with a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) LTPS display with 2.5D curved glass, T2X-1 glass protection. Under the hood, it is powered by a 2GHz MediaTek Helio X10 Octa-Core 64-bit processor, graphics paired with PowerVR G6200 GPU.
The Meizu Blue Charm Metal is coupled with 2GB of RAM memory, will be available in two 16GB and 32GB variants, which can further expandable uup to 128GB using microSD card. It runs on Flyme OS 5 based on YunOS and most impressively it has an Hybrid Dual SIM (SIM 2 slot can also be used as microSD slot).
Camera-wise, the Meizu Blue Charm Metal sports a 13-Megapixel rear sensor with dual-tone LED Flash, 5P lenses f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, and houses a 5MP forward-facing snapper with f/2.0 aperture. Connectivity options include support for 4G TD/FDD-LTE on both SIMs and offers WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS.
The smartphone is also equipped with a mTouch 2.1 fingerprint sensor from FCP integrated into the home button that can unlock the phone in 0.48 seconds and the mBack touch-sensitive button offers different functions depending on how hard you press it. Meizu Blue Charm Metal is backed by a 3140mAh battery and goes on sale in White, Gold, Gray, Blue and Pink colors.
The Meizu Blue Charm Metal is priced at 1099 Yuan (INR 11,270 / US$170 approximately) for the 16GB variant and the 32GB version costs 1299 Yuan (Rs. 13,330 / US$204 approx.). Pre-order it right now, which will go on sale in China from November 2nd.
