Samsung Galaxy S7 With Mongoose Processor Appears In Benchmarks

Earlier last week and before we were in touch with Samsung Galaxy S7 rumors that it will come with two different processor, one with Samsung’s own Exynos 8990 in some select countries and the next will be Qualcomm Snapdrgaon 820 in other countries. Now, another mobile-based chipset witnessed to be integrated inside the Galaxy S7.

A new Samsung Exynos CPU with codename “Mongoose” or “M1” has apparently discovered in some benchmarks and it is possible that this the new Exynos 8990 which will be used in the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S7.

The new processor recently spotted in some benchmarks that were published on Chinese social network, Weibo and about the new Exynos Mongoose processor, it appears to have some impressive performance enhancements.

The alleged Exynos M1 processor had clock speed of 2.3GHz and performance improvements for a single-core benchmark was scored at 2294 points and 6908 points for multi-core results.

If the Samsung Galaxy S7 is believed to be equipped with the new Exynos Mongoose “M1” processor, then it will be a big appeal for 2016, which is also listed in a power saving mode – scoring 1710 in single-core and multi-core performance at 4896 points.

Before we get imminent about it, there is yet no official confirmation of this processor is the new Exynos 8990 that the South Korean Electronics is using it inside its Samsung Galaxy S7 hood, which actually purported to launch next year.

It is also said that Samsung is also expected to debut two variants of the Galaxy S7 handsets, one with curved-display and flat screen, just like Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge released this year.

First of all take the aforementioned points with a pinch of salt as non other than anything is official as yet. As soon as we get details regarding the Samsung Galaxy S7 specifications, we’ll let you know.
