Samsung although tipped its Galaxy Unpacked event at the end of this month, where its new flagship – the Galaxy S8 and S8+ expected to be unveiled. But before that keynote we here got a complete photo of the official Galaxy S8, leaked in full glory.
Say whoa! The early exposure won’t exactly hurt the device’s changes of being successful in a crowded market now. Honestly, Samsung‘s upcoming hardware which has been surfaced online does provide us with an opportunity to see exactly what will be offered, and should first of all thank Evan Blass for this latest leaked render courtesy.
This newer leak can be added to the others which have mad their way into the public domain via various sources, shows its glimpse in a leaked video recently, and had given what we can expect visually from the S8, presumably based on the actual internal Samsung designs.
It seems like the embedded display will offer a 18:9 ratio, take up the majority of the front of the device, will be capped at each corner with rounded edges, which is similar to the approach taken by LG with the recently announced G6 flagship. This won’t stop here, only for aesthetics rather also improve durability and extend the life of the display though. The display also wraps around both sides of the device same as what Samsung already offers with the Edge-branded devices.
The visual leak fairly shows up that device will present itself with the usual Power and Volume Up and Down buttons on the side. There’s still the addition of a new button which we can only presume is the dedicated hardware button to invoke the new Bixby AI experience – forms part of the appeal of the new Galaxy S8.
Similarly with the likes of Apple is expected to do with the iPhone 8, Samsung has also removed physical Home button from the device, with the gadget utilizing the typical on-screen Android navigation bar.
The front highlights of the device is finished off with the inclusion of what appears to be five individual sensors across the top of the phone. However, there’s no official information slipped regarding those five sensors, on what they’re tasked with, but it’s very likely reasonable to assume that we at least have an ambient light sensor, and of course the iris sensor in that lineup in addition to the speaker grill and front-facing camera.
For the outer-design of the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus more or less pretty much confirmed, we shall have to wait for the initial launch event on 29th of March in New York to get further details on its specs and possibly surprising-features along with price info.
