The Activator beta for iOS 8.3 has been released with support on iPhones, iPads and iPods jailbroken using the latest TaiG tool. Details on the tweak and how to install it right now can be found right after this jump.
What is Activator? It is a popular jailbreak tweak developed by Ryan Petrich, which allows you to set custom gestures to launch pre-defined actions. For instance, you can set Activator to turn up or down the brightness of the display simply by swiping up and down on the screen, or even, you can set it to launch a certain app when a particular gesture is performed. Powerful tool by means and possibilities with Activator are almost endless, ultimate.
Currently, a beta version of Activator has been released to support the latest iOS 8.3 jailbreak. Now, it’s ready to download right away. Make a note that Activator requires Cydia Substrate to work. Install it only if you got updated version TaiG v2.1.1 with fix for Cydia Substrate when it was available yesterday for a shrt while. If you missed it, wait for TaiG to release an unique updated version of TaiG jailbreak for everyonewith fix for Substrate before installing Activator version. Although this version of Activator is in beta, there will be some more job to fix bugs.

Step 1: Launch Cydia from your jailbroken iOS device’s home screen.
Step 2: Tap on ‘Sources’ at the bottom.
Step 3: Add in the following repo.
Step 4: Now wait for the repositories to refresh.
Step 5: Go to the repo directly to download Activator, or simply search for it in Cydia tweak search section. Make sure the version you are downloading is from Ryan Petrich’s repository. Once clarified!
Step 6: Tap on ‘Install’ on the top right hand corner to install the package onto your device.
