Release date of Samsung Galaxy S7 is still unknown, and speculations hints at the South korean electronics was opting for a new development method to fast track work on the yet-unannounced S7. Codenamed Lucky-LTE, but at the benchmark database it was internally named Project Lucky. This rumor is past anyhow, but today another one surfaced claiming that the next-generation Galaxy S smartphone is reportedly bringing with it a dual camera sensors on its front for even better Selfie capturing. What do you think?
It was an alleged report in April which we thought that Samsung was testing a dual selfie camera posinbg device that is all by 2016 set for a big debut. Now, with this new report the device could pretty much be the upcoming Galaxy S7 – as it’s packing a dual camera setup and which has a 5.7-inch display when compared to the 5.1-inch on both the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge smartphones
While the Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge+ also sports the same screen size of what the rumored Galaxy S7 packs of 5.7-inch. If these rumors are to be believed, then, this time around Samsung won’t be introducing an S7 Edge or S7 Edge+ variants, and that too if the so called Galaxy S7 is coming. It may also produce an S7 Edge with dual curved screen due to the fact that the curved screened edge has seen more demand than that with a flat S series.
If the said device is coming with a dual camera setup, then it would be much like the HTC One M8‘s and M9+‘s. For now, it remains unclear whether they will use it for depth sensing or for 3D photos. Alleged, that the device will also be available in two variants, one with Snapdragon 820 SoC and the second one with much purported Samsung’s own Exynos M1 Mangoose chipset. On Galaxy S7, Exynos M1 chip is very favorable and preferred aesthetic, though. And Qualcomm’s S820 will be for exclusive regions.
That’s it! For today, and tomorrow, there will be another rumor or speculation regarding the forthcoming Galaxy S7 with another detailing. Stay tuned!
