It was been phenomenal when compared to the iPhone 6 sales which had set the previous record of 10 million unit in its first weekend, and of course the figures did not include China, and this time ever Apple’s iPhone 6s is the company’s new champ, with 13 million units retailed just three days after successfully launching iPhone 6s Plus pre-orders. Apple has now provided more information.
The Mac maker has now announced that it had managed to shift more than thirteen million iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus units in the first three days of public availability, which are the figures that include the number of devices purchased since the devices became available on Friday, as well as units that had been pre-ordered since September 12. Sales for both the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus blowing past any previous first weekend sales results in Apple’s history, said Tim Cook in a statement.
Positivity surrounding iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s was entirely founded. During the same period last year the iPhone maker managed to sell ten million iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus units as part of the opening weekend launch. Breaks the previous record with the demand clearly being at an all-time high for the company’s new smartphones, which is obviously due to the newly introduced 3D Touch and they are loving Live Photos, stated that sales of the 6s and 6s Plus have been nothing short of.
Besting that ten million iPhone 6 units in an opening weekend twellve months ago was considered to be an extremely important achievement. Managing the record by more than three million units is nothing short of incredible this year, even more so considering this year it was the “S” models.
Sales for iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus have been phenomenal, blowing past any previous first weekend sales results in Apple’s history. Customers’ feedback is incredible and they are loving 3D Touch and Live Photos.
Stated by Tim Cook, Apple’s much-loved Chief Executive Officer.
Have you got your hands on Apple’s new iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus? Desperate to experience all that it offers with 3D Touch, Live Photos, new cameras and more, then Apple is encouraging customers to “check the Apple Store app or Apple.com to receive updates on availability and estimated delivery time”. As soon as stocks become available, the elevated demand for the new hardware will push those sales numbers even higher. Isn’t it?
Note: iPhone 6s / 6s Plus launching in 45 more countries starting October 9th. When all is said and done, Apple’s latest smartphones will be on sale in 130 countries total by the end of the year. In India starting on 16th of October.
