Google’s Updated Chromebook List Confirmed To Get Play Store + Android Apps

Google has been made available to download Play Store and Android apps for Chromebooks from the past year June. It has also extended to more Chromebooks, while the updated list of Chrome OS running Chromebooks include – Dell Chromebook 13, HP 13, Samsung Chromebook 2, and ASUS C301SA.

Today Google added to the list of Chromebooks that supports Android apps are Acer Chromebook R11 (CB5-132T, C738T), Asus Chromebook Flip C100PA, Google Chromebook Pixel (2015), AOpen Chromebox Mini, AOpen Chromebase Mini and Samsung Chromebook Plus into the stable chanels.

Wait! Here’s the update to make a note of. Acer Chromebook R13 and Asus Chromebook Flip C302 gets support for Android Play Store app in Beta channel. Google has also listed 83 more Chromebooks which are planned to get its mobile operating system application. Since Google says that those devices listed and revealed above are marked as Beta, meaning that they won’t get Android apps support in Stable channel on the next release of Chrome OS.

Nevertheless, device that are in ‘Planned’ stage do not confirm the update for the device will receive. What’s next? We have to learn more about the details Google planning for Chromebooks at the company’s annual developer conference (Google I/O) next month, in May.
