Apple has launched the two new iPhones last month and after pre-orders starting 12th of September shipped to customers on 25th and has already been hands-on with the latest version of mobile OS – iOS 9, 9.0.1 and recently updated with iOS 9.0.2 download links. There are still many countries which haven’t received the grace of iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus launch, while over 45+ regions will be getting them on October 9th and whereas India starting Oct. 16th onwards. What makes this thing spoiler is that, both the new iPhone 6s and 6s Plus in the country would be the pricing, which according to a minimal basic cosnumer can’t afford it.
Official distributer to Apple, Ingram Micro has informed its retail partners about the debut price of the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus in India. As per the communication – a copy of which has been revealed, showing the starting price of iPhone 6s 16GB starts at Rs 62,000 and for the iPhone 6s Plus costs Rs 72,000 for the same basic 16 GB storage.
While the 128GB iPhone 6s variant will go a step forward making its price-tag of Rs 72,000 and Rs 82,000 respectively. The iPhone 6s Plus wikth 128GB storage costs you Rs 82,000 to Rs 92000.
When compared the iPhone 6s prices with the latst year’s iPhone 6 are now available at Rs 52,000 for 16GB and Rs 62,000 for 64GB. The iPhone 6 Plus is now priced in India at Rs 62,000 and Rs 72,000 for 16GB and 64GB models. Even lowered the prices of iPhone 5s, starts at Rs 35,000 for the 16GB and 32GB 5S is now at Rs 40,000. Point to be noted is that these are all MRPs, and the effective market price online as well offline will vary to actually lower.
