HTC rumored to be launching a new smartphone called the HTC Bolt on Sprint network later this year, and with today’s renders leak suggests the Bolt will perhaps look like a HTC 10 but without headphone jack. Here are the details.
Last week we heard about HTC working on a new handset that would be headed to Sprint in the US. dubbed HTC Bolt, actually the Thunderbolt range. Now we have already have a leaked press renders of the HTC Bolt to look at.
The leaked renders of the HTC Bolt surfaced tipping at its release in the United States by Sprint. As per the render, HTC Bolt takes design cues from the HTC 109 with minor tweaks. Popular leaker Evan Blass (@evleaks on Twitter) shared these images of the Bolt smartphone in Silver. The front camera for instance seen on this alleged HTC Bolt, has shifted to the left-side of the earpiece. There’s a physical home button on the bezel below the display. The rear portion of the phone has a Flash, above the camera system, while the laser autofocus module is not glimpsed. The antenna lines are still present at the top and bottom, whereas the phone sports the same metal unibody design.
The microSD and SIM card slots has been moved to the left edge near the bottom of the phone. The USB port is present at the bottom line, finally.
The 3.5mm headset jack is nowhere to be found, so HTC has already decided to remove what Apple’s done for its new iPhone 7 range. Other than this, no other details regarding HTC Bolt specs, or its pricing and the availability, or whether it will be Sprint-exclusive or not is not mentioned. With that said, the unveil date could be October 18, since that was featured on the screen of the leaked render.
