Leaked iPad mini 4 3D CAD Render Hints At 6.1mm Thin Tablet [Video]

Rumors regarding Apple’s new iPhone 6s and 6s Plus already in the heat and now that about the iPad mini 4 release date, specs have surfaced in a new leaked renders, suggesting that the mini 4 could be as powerful as last year’s iPad Air 2. Although Apple’s iPhone 6s launch event gets a perfect date on September 9th, and where we expected to witness the new product releases and now that another one joins the stream, and it’s the iPad mini 4. Alongside next-gen Apple TV, as well as new iPad Pro, it is the new iPad mini that could also see an uneil next month.

Leakster @Onleaks has shared sme iPad mini 4 renders that shows the miniature slate from all possible angles posing for the photo captures. The 3D CAD renders tipped at dimensions of 203.2×134.8×6.1mm for the tablet, which makes iPad mini 4 slimmer than its current prdecessor – 200×134.7×7.5mm. Previously, it was also claimed that the new iPad mini will be borrowing a lot of design elements from the iPad Air 2.

Now that the renders of iPad mini 4 shows the tablet from all the angles possible, design elements carried over are quite visible. Currently, the speaker grills at either side of the lightning port are in a single row. Reason, it got an ultra-thin bezel, the mute switch seems to have been removed, and replaced with a microphone.

In addition to design changes apart, the iPad mini 4 will also be powered by an updated processor, could be an A8 chip and may be getting a refresh over its iPad mini 3 predecessor to bring with it the Touch ID fingerprint sensor onboard etc.
