Leaked Microsoft Band 2 Images Show Off Its New Metallic Design And Curved Display

There is a bit difference when compared to smartwatches and health bands, while all the range of wrist wearables right now with Apple, Samsung and Motorola in particular all duking it out for the limited space on our wrists. Microsoft, on the other hand sticking with the fitness tracker approach, which already having a limited space success with the Microsoft Band, now the software maker is all set to release an updated model at its upcoming media event on October 6th. So, it’s the likely date for the Band 2’s kick off, is unknown at the moment.

What exactly the Microsoft Band 2 will look like? Renders of the device have been outed by a Spanish site Microsoft Insider, released what it claims, aren’y yet to be verified.

Examining the renders, it shows a Microsoft Band 2 device that apparently looks considerably better than the first-generation Band that it is set to replace. Designed with a curved display and with a new metallic finish, the hardware in the leaked renders looks every bit the second generation of hardware, replacing that somwhat band looks of the first Band release.

Backing up the renders is some independent suggessions that the new device will indeed feature a curved-edge screen, just as shown in the shots leaked by Insider. Within a couple of weeks or so to go before the Band 2 is officially debuted by Microsoft though, we are just going to have to wait a little while longer before we witness it for sure.

Almost all of them are working on smartwatches. it’s rerefeshing to see that the fitness tracking market isn’t going to go away just yet, especially with the likes of Microsoft sticking around in the face of what could have been a smartwatch-inspred aremegaddon.

Forget-Not, Microsoft Band also supports Notifications, Text replies, Cortana and more not only with Windows Phone devices but also with iPhone and Android.

Stay tuned for excited launch of Microsoft Band? October 6th is nearing anyhow.
