The Technology Convention show is around the corner starting January 6 to 9 of this year, and we already shared something from Samsung and at CES 2016. LG Electronics is expected to introduce its new line of 4K ultra HD television sets. Called LG Super UHD TV.
Consumer Electronics Show is the world’s largest consumer conference, starts on January 5, 2016 in Las Vegas. Pre-show will begin from Monday and LG Super 4K Ultra-HD televisions series are at the show. Features an advanced LCD/LED picture quality, better colour capabilities and sound-enhancing inclusions, says a press statement from the company.
The South Korean giant is all set to unveil four series of the Super HD line. The UH9500 series will have screen sizes ranging from 55-to 86-inches, the UH8500 will come in screens of 55″ to 75″, whereas the UH7700 will come in 49-inch to 65-inches screen options.
The fourth LG Super UHD series will be garnered with an 98-inch 8K SUPER UHD TV (model UH9800). Rest of those aforementioned, the UH9500, UH8500 and UH7700 will sport an advanced IPS display with True Black Panel and Contrast Maximiser for better picture quality. As per the LG itself, the True Black Panel is a propiatary technlogy that minimises reflections and enhances contrast ratio for better viewing.
Speaking about the LG UH9500, it employs a new design concept and new TV series is ultra-thin. LG says it has worked with Harman/Kardon to develop a high-quality audio speaker system for its new Super UHD TV series. It comes with the largest generation of LG’s webOS Smart TV platform.
“We’re confident our 2016 HDR-enabled SUPER UHD TV will generate much excitement not only in the industry, but also with consumers in general,” said Brian Kwon, President and CEO at LG’s Home Entertainment Company in a press statement.
The LG’s 2016 Super UHD TV lineup will launch webOS 3.0 at CES 2016. Plans to announce the lightest Windows 10 laptop at the event.
