Micromax 4G Mobile: Yu YUNIQUE Goes Official With 4.7-inch HD Display, Snapdragon 410 SoC For Rs. 4999

It’s now official. Micromax’s Yu has launched YUNIQUE budget-friendly smartphone exclusively on Snapdeal in India. The smartphone will go on sale starting from September 15th through flash sale. Once available to purchase, Yu Yunique LTE phone will be offered with a double data pack from Airtel to its customers. Details goes like this, as previously leaked.

It features a 4.7-inch HD (1280x720px) IPS Fully Laminated display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection with a pixel density of 312ppi. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad-Core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor with Adreno 306 GPU. The Yunique runs on stock Android 5.1 Lollipop.

Unfortunately, it won’t be based on custom ROM, Cyanogen OS like other Yu branded smartphones, but nevertheless, has an option Yunique to run Cyanogen OS 12.1 based Android 5.1.1 Lollipop in the future. It is paired with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, which can further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.

With an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and f/2.0 aperture, the Yu smartphone also has a 2MP front-facing Selfie cam with 83-degree wide-angle Lens, F/2.4 aperture. The Dual SIM Yunique supports 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and packs a 2000mAh battery.

The Yu YUNIQUE 4G smartphone is priced at Rs. 4,999 and can be grabbed in Black color. Registrations for the first flash slae on Snapdeal starts at 6MP onwards, today.
