About the two high-end Lumia 950 and 950 XL which leaked online several weeks ago claiming that these are the handsets Microsoft is planning to announce, but with the latest ones surfaced from NPU suggesting that the naming scheme could most probably be Lumia 940 and Lumia 940 XL. These are also the rumored handsets emerged months ago, ahead of Windows 10 launch.
The Microsoft Lumia 940 XL specs are said to sport a 5.7-inch WQHD (2560×1440 pixels) OLED display with 515ppi density. This too gets the similar camera-esque with triple LED flash and pre-installed with Windows 10 Mobile OS. Both are alleged to bring USB Type-C connectivity ports to the table. To pack a a 20-megapixel PureView rear camera with triple LED flash and a 5-megapixel wide-angle selfie camera, which is expected to come with 3,300mAh removable battery and support Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 4.0, USB Type C charging and capable of Qi wireless charging.
The Microsoft Lumia 940 is expected to come with a 5.2-inch screen with a resolution of (1080x1920p) FullHD display packing a pixel density of 424ppi. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 808 hexagon CPU with Adreno 418 GPU handling the graphics. With 3GB of RAM inside the memory, going to add a 32GB of built-in storage and expandable microSD card.
