Next Snapdragon 823 Chipset To Power Up Samsung Galaxy Note 6, LG G Flex 3 And Other New Flagships

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 CPU successfully completes with custom kyro cores equipped inside the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge and LG G5, Sony Xperia X Performance and Xiaomi Mi5 and the first becomes the LeEco Le Max Pro to get the powerhouse of 820 chipset internally as a hardware key feature. Since the spring line of SD 820 on HTC 10 mere hours away will definitely looking for the next batch of Android smartphones.

Here comes another speculation that Qualcomm is reportedly working on a sequel already, which by means could be the Snapdragon 823. What might fall bring in terms of Androd-based flagships? A Galaxy Note 6, alongside a new top-shelf models from big companies like Sony and LG are also looking forward to integrate Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 823 SoC for their flaghsip smartphone in the future.

About the Snapdragon 823 chipset! A marginally faster silicon, judging from its rumored name and model number – SD 823 and MSM8996 Pro respectively. It will feature a quad CPU with kyro cores clocked at up to 3GHz, 720MHz Adreno 530 GPU, and beefed up to 8GB LPDDR4 RAM memory support. Technically, the Snapdragon 823 chip can only work with 8 gigs of good stuff, it doesn’t mean it’ll go beyond the previously speculated 6GB mark.

With that said, the Samsung‘s Galaxy Note6, G Flex 3 from LG and the upcoming Xperia flagships by Sony will all be powered by Snapdragon 823, according to the Weibo user. When compared to SD820 four kryo cores which were clocked at a maximum speed of 2.15GHz with 624MHz Adreno 530 GPU, the Snapdragon 823 will be hugely a powerhouse as per the leak, aforementioned by us.

The leak also reveals that it will support up to eight GB of 2166MHz dual-channel LPDDR 4 memory, supported by 25MP camera and Spectra 14-bit dual ISP. If that’s the case study today, then Samsung usually unveils its Note flagships in August or September, so we can expect Qualcomm to introduce Snapdragon 823 chipset a bit early before the Korean’s smartphone launch. There’s another hint that Samsung will otherwise use its 10nm FinFET process technology that is stated to arrive next year, in 2017.

While this rumor makes feel particularly sketchy is its Weibo originator hints at the unknown devices, and… LG G Flex 3 coming soon with SD823 power. Where we don’t think so LG will once again consider and reboot the G Flex family while a far more popular V10 is still waiting for the follow-up.

In fact we, you and all should take this statement or speculation with a grain of salt and simply wait for Qualcomm’s official announcement of Snapdragon 823 in the upcoming weeks or months.
