Leaked press renders of the Microsoft Lumia 550 once again appeared and this time looking official ones. Although, Microsoft is holding an event on next week to unveil its Windows 10-eligible flagships, Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL on October 6th, where it is also expected to introduce its budget-friendly smartphone from the same category, called Lumia 550.
The upcoming entry-level Microsoft Lumia 550 smartphone has now been leaked, courtesy of the usually reliable leakster @evleaks. However, the device has already been outed in several leaks, with the most recent is here showing the affordable handset in four colors – white, red, blue, and black.
There’s also the Lumia 550 in white and black variants that sport a Windows logo at the center. What impact it will be heading towards competing other mid-range handsets is to be seen in the future.
Specs-wise, the Microsoft Lumia 550 is said to feature a 4.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 720×1080 pixels and will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor. It is expected to come with 1GB RAM and 8GB expandable internal memory, and pack in a 1,905 mAh battery. In terms of camera, the Windows 10 Mobile-powered device is said to feature a 5MP rear unit and a 2MP front sensor with flash as well.
