Samsung Electronics has introduced SE370 at IFA 2015, which is the first monitor with an integrated wireless charging function for mobile devices. The FreeSync Samsung SE370 monitor has be made available to pre-order for US$ 249.99.
The new Samsung monitor will come in 23.6-inch and 27-inch formats and in a gorgeously looking design. Display on its has a resolution of fullHD 1080p and with an aspect ratio of 16:9. But your phone will have to support the Qi wireless charging standard, which was developed by the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) and is supported by makers such as Samsung, Sony, LG, HTC and Huawei.
The Samsung SE370 monitor has a wireless charging pad where you can put your smartphone to charge it wirelessly. it works with or without a case as well and an LED lights up when it’s in use and of course is optimized for video games, with richer black hues when it’s in game mode.
The screen will not distort graphics with stutter and lag and has a response time of 4 milliseconds, where it supports AMD’s slick game-smoothening FreeSync technology if you have a Radeon graphics card. Compatible with Mac OS X and Windows 10, the SE370 also has an eye-saver mode that reduces blue light.
If you own the company’s Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge or later flagships that support Qi and rival Power Matters Alliance standards for wireless charging, then you are in for purchase.
The Samsung SE370 monitor with wireless charging support can now bne pre-ordered at the source for a mere 249.99 US dollars, but we have got no idea on when it will be shipping to customers.
