Here we got yet another look at the unannounced Samsung’s next-gen flagships which in only a matter of weeks to be officially unveiled at Unpacked media event on August 13. Both the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus and Galaxy Note 5 are ready for the prime time release. As today we look at what those specifications speak about. What Samsung has in store with its two Android flagships. Thankfully, Evan Blass of @evleaks appears to have all of the gory details on the Korean electronics fifth-generation Galaxy Note and gas shared them with the world.
Specs of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and press renders of S6 Edge+ has been leaked online, which looks like Samsung has made no secret of the fact that it’s banking on the Note 5 and S6 Edge Plus to provide a much needed reprieve from the troubles that it has been experiencing in the smartphone market to date. Rumored that the Galaxy Note 5 to reportedly ship with a 5.66-inch display serving up a 2560×1440 pixels display resolution. Under the hood, the Note 5 Processor will be provided by Samsung’s own Octa-Core Exynos 7420 SoC with individual cores fixed at 2.1GHz and 1.5GHz. Users can also expect to receive a 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM when purchasing the Galaxy Note 5, after official launch.
Apart from the chipset and memory as well as the screen, Samsung will also be offering up devices with different internal storage options due to the lack of microSD card support for those who generally expand their handsets storage with external SD cards. Could start with 32GB, 64GB and 128GB respectively. No surprise that the Galaxy Note 5 will be running on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box. With that on the software side, the photography and prefessional level selfies offered by the 16MP camera setup and of course with the 5MP front-facing shooter. Only confusing would be the design of the fifth-generation Galaxy Note. So, in the interest of fairness and offering a complete picture prior to the launch, here is what Note 5 on left looks like:
On the right you can have a good look at the Galaxy S6 Edge+, essentially the same device with a curved display on either side, obviously, similar to the Galaxy S6 Edge, only with larger screen. The visuals also show us the accompanying stylus which will ship alongside with the 5th-Gen Note when the hardware eventually lands on our physical and digital shelves later this month. The Galaxy S6 Edge Plus will sport 5.67-inch Super AMOLED Quad HD display with curved edges, Exynos 7420 processor along with 3GB of RAM and 16MP rear camera.
Remind you! Samsung will no boubt provide the world with more info during the Unpacked keynote on August 13, but for today these leaks should give all interested consumers a faily in-depth idea of what’s coming on the date.
