New renders allegedly showcasing a cancelled Nokia/Microsoft Mercury tablet device in a leaked outfit online. Images of what was the Microsoft Mercury, which was a small Windows slate that never, ever made officially launched. Now surfaced again in leaked images. No details or specifications of the device are known as of yet.
Although Microsoft is continually aiming to push the boundaries of creating a Windows tablet that can replace your laptop, and it does with the introduction of Surface Pro 4 recently, but it appears that the company has other plkans for its tablet lineup too. Latest leaks emerged online showing off a rather unusually-looking “Microsoft Mercury” tablet hardware.
Revealed by former leaker Evan Blass of what so-called the renders of Microsoft/Nokia Mercury. Given the fact that this is the foremost of the existence of such a device, which resemble a phablet quite a bit in terms of design and even packs a SIM card slot, and would been offered with 3G or LTE-capabilities. After closer inspection, it does look quite similar to the Lumia 2520 released by Nokia around two years ago.

The bezels look quite small and you can also see a front facing camera and the rear has a large camera module which is centered along with a Microsoft Logo. Even though, Blass has an impressive track record but seeing the lack of evidence and details regarding the alleged device at this point, it is advised that to take this rumor with a pinch of salt.
