The upcoming Xiaomi Mi5 smartphone has been surfaced in a newly leaked screenshot image, revealing its specifications and DualSIM slot with NFC capabilities and what you say its homescreen running MIUI 7-based on Android.
Thanks to Xiaomi’s Chairman Lei Jun for the posted Mi5 image on Weibo. The top portion of the screenshot reveals both the NFC capabilities and Dual SIM card slot, while NFC was made available with the launch of Xiaomi Mi3 and later for some reason removed it in Mi4.
In the smae fashion OnePlus made NFC available with OnePlus One smartphone but the latest OnePlus 2 doesn’t carry that functionality. It would good to see that Xiaomi is bringing back the NFC chip, regarding the increase in mobile payments hype. With Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 on-board, Xiaomi Mi5 is set to make its appearance on February 24th at MWC 2016 media event in Barcelona, Spain.
