HTC Bolt Finally Gets Pictured, Has Specifications Leaked

The HTC Bolt will soon becoming official. Interestingly, Bolt is the name of flagship smartphone from HTC offers BoomSound audio-enhancing technology and what’s more to describe, it’s only available when listening with headphones; the headset itself contains but a single, bottom-siring speaker. More to consider when the leaked specs are already thrown out now.

HTC is however poised to release a new mid-range smartphone running Android 7.0 Nougat this month. Dubbed HTC Bolt, closely resembles the 2016 flagship HTC 10 in appearance, but still got a larger screen-size.

With 5.5-inch Full HD (1920×1080) pixel resolution display, internally known as Acadia, HTC’s next HTC 10-like smartphone is upcoming with Sense-skinned handset, 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage plus microSD card slot. Noteworthy for something it doesn’t include a 3.5mm headphone jack.

HTC Bolt has a typical design with most smartphones from the Taiwan-based firm sports. Last month, a press render of HTC Bolt was spotted in the wild and today the popular tipster Evan Blass (aka @evleaks on Twitter) has shared live images of the said handset that offers a great look from all sides.

Specifications wise, the smartphone has a metal unibody design. At the front it has a selfie camera, earpiece and usual set of proximity and ambient light sensor. Underneath the display, there are two capacitive touch buttons on either side of the physical Home button, which comes equipped with a fingerprint scanner  nestled between capacitive buttons on the face, along with a USB type-C port.

On the left, the HTC Bolt holds a SIM card tray and a microSD, while the right side the Power/Lock button and Volume rockers. Coming to the back portion, there is a flash above the camera system, which do not shows up the Laser autofocus setup. The antenna lines are still present on top and bottom.

You can see the HTC branding at the center of the back and is said to feature a 18MP rear-facing f/2.0 aperture sensor with 4K video recording capabilities and an 8MP front-camera sensor. The phone will run on HTC Sense 8.0 UI-based Android Nougat on top out-of-the-box.

It is expected to be available globally, including Sprint in the United States. There’s no official release date given for HTC Bolt launch.
