HTC Desire 650 Goes Official With Dual Textured Back, High-Res Audio Support And More

HTC has announced the company’s latest smartphone Desire 650 alongside the HTC 10 Evo in Taiwan. The HTC Desire 650 is a mid-range device from the Taiwan-based company, has fully fledged specifications when you confirm the best of configurations. Here is everything you need to know about the new version of Desire range.

When you talk about HTC Desire 650 hardware key features, there you will gets a 5-inch HD TFT LCD display that too combined with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Under-the-hood, the Desire 650 is powered by a Quad-Core Snapdragon processor with 64-bit chip, paired by 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage capacity which is further expandable up to 2TB exceptionally.

On the software front, the Desire 650 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box based on top of HTC Sense UI. The Desire 650 smartphone is no different from its recent offerings, rather also sports a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash, BSI sensor, f/2.2 aperture, has 28mm lens and supports Full HD 1080p video recording. For selfies, the Desire 650 also adds a 5MP front camera sensor with f/2.8 aperture and 33.2mm lens.

Connectivity options includes 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS / GLONASS and NFC. It packs a 2200mAh battery. Mainly, the Desire 650 is honored with HTC’s BoomSound experience and now gets Hi-Res audio playback support, but it doesn’t carry dual speakers anymore. Nevertheless, the Desire 650’s unique back panel comes with 50-percent flat surface and the rest 50% has ridges that offers a better than ever grip.

The HTC Desire 650 will be available to purchase in Polar White, Blue colors and is priced at NT$ 5490 (US$ 171 / Rs. 11,820 approx.). Officially goes on sale in Taiwan starting first of December release date. No other details has been made regarding Desire 650 global launch as yet.
