HTC Ocean Note Rumored To Launch As HTC U Ultra With No 3.5mm Headphone Jack, 6-Inch Phablet

Earlier it was reported that the Taiwan-based handset maker HTC has planned for an event on January 12th and also received an invitation for that. But in the latest development, popular tipster @Onleaks has tweeted the official name of the new HTC smartphone might debut as HTC U Ultra.

According to these leaks, the HTC Ocean Note could be called as the U Ultra smartphone that will come featuring a 6-inch display and seems to be ditching the traditional 3.5mm audio jack as well. It seems like all the big smartphone manufacturers are following the Apple’s way as it has completely removed the headphone jack in the newer version of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Recently, Samsung was also against that 3.5mm jack and also planning to introduce a new kind of wireless earbuds, alternative to AirPods.

Tipped that the so-called Ocean series are said to be coming with Adaptive Audio technology that automatically adjusts the volume based on surroundings. On the other hand, the same Taiwanese OEM is expected to launch a new smartphone on 12th January 2017 and now the HTC U Ultra is believed to be the one of three.

We originally suggest that the aforementioned information is just a guess and you should not take it very seriously till the official release notes.
