Rumored specs of the HTC’s next flagship smartphone made the rounds on Chinese social media. The top-end handset with high-end specifications will likely to debut in the first quarter of next year with the model number M9.
Alleged HTC One (M9) is speculated to pack a Qualconn Snapdragon 805 SoC and 3GB of RAM. The display of the device will go with a 5.5-inch QHD screen 2K resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Obviously got a 16MP rear camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) tech, backed up by the 3500mAh battery and as One M8, it also got a stereo speakers with Bose on its front.
The features and specs you have seen appear legitimate for a flagship smartphone, though we can only suggest you to take a pinch of salt and pepper when you read through them. Don’t mind, we will be surprised if the Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer’s next flagship doesn’t ship with 64-bit Snapdragon 810 silicon. HTC may use an aluminum silicon-carbide composite for the body. The M9 will have Android v5.0 Lollipop, which doesn’t really come as a surprise to me.
Alongside this M9, a “Prime” version of the HTC’s upcoming device is also mentioned in the rumor. But unfortunately, we have no details regarding it as yet. Named M9 Prime?
