Apple’s iOS 10 Update For iPhone, iPad Could Bring New Unicode 9.0 Emoji Set Of 74 New Icons

It has to be seen whether the two could be on an exisiting collision course to integrate with each other or will go through another stage to find which ones get added to Unicode 9.0.

Apple’s iOS 10 may get a developer preview this June, and the software goes live with new iPhone smartphone generally around the September/october time. That’s plenty of time for Apple to add necessary provisions in place to make sure that these new emoji get integrated into the platform.
