WhatsApp For iOS And Android Gets Support For Sharing Media Documents From Other Apps

WhatsApp Messenger has received an all new option to share documents on your mobile apps. For Android, WhatsApp update rolling out the feature to stable users with running version 2.12.453 via Google Play Store, which could also be called an WhatsApp APK edition, that can be side-loaded and made it available for WhatsApp Android beta users.

Currently the updated version 2.12.453 of WhatsApp for Android supports PDF, and can choose the document and send it to a person or a group. To share a document, you will all need is by using the attachment option and select “Document” from the list, where it shows its available on your phone.

WhatsApp for iOS has already got a new updated version 2.12.14 earlier this week, that lets users add option to share media files to other apps on the phone, which includes media like photos, videos etc from the app itself. This authentication is similar to how you share media files through Google Drive, Dropbox, or Microsoft OnDrive.

With an improved design to browse photographs and videos, the new version 2.12.14 of WhatsApp for iPhone added an option of solid colors to customize your chat backgrounds and zoom functionality on videos while they’re playing.

WhatsApp has finally rolled out a document sharing feature to its iOS app as well, alongside Android apps and are made available to download.
