Here are iOS 11.2.5 beta 3 changes, official release notes and changelog details that you want to know about.

Apple today seeded the third beta of an upcoming iOS 11.2.5 update to those members registered on Apple Developer Program, two weeks after seeding the second beta and three weeks after releasing iOS 11.2.1 to the public, which came as a fix for a HomeKit vulnerability.

As said, those holding a developer account are able to grab the latest beta release as an over-the-air or via the official IPSW download links.

This newly available to download iOS 11.2.5 beta 3 IPSW links and OTA update for all compatible iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices, gone live. The release of the latest follows from Apple’s release of the beta 2 prior to shutting down iTunes Connect for the festive period.

Nevertheless, the third iOS 11.2.5 beta which has now served up for consideration by the testing community, and utterly gives those developers an opportunity to test their own apps and software with the latest version of iOS.

With the release of iOS 11.2.5 beta 3, we have no expectations that Apple has bundled in any major changes, feature improvements, or new additions. Because every pre-release seeds of the firmware are very much offered to the testing and development communities as a minor point release designed to fix any known issues with previous releases and to try and streamline the whole iOS experience on all supported devices.

Likewise, we don’t expect beta 3 or beyond to include any sweet functionality additions like we saw with the releases of iOS 11.2 and the unlocking of Apple Pay Cash and faster 7.5W wireless charging.

For now, it’s unclear what new features are in, if any, will be included in the iOS 11.2.5 beta release notes & changelog. As of now, we haven’t tested or discovered any noticeable outward-facing changes in the first two iOS 11.2.5 betas, so it’s possible this update focuses mainly on bug fixes and security improvements.

Note: Apple is supposed to be releasing an iCloud Messages feature that was pulled from the iOS 11 release, but again, there’s no indication of when we can expect iCloud Messages to be reintroduced.
