Lenovo Vibe C2 With 5-inch HD Display, Android 6.0, 4G LTE Support Announced

It’s now official. Lenovo Russia has unveiled the Vibe C2, which was previously reported to be the next Moto E after introducing the Vibe C few months ago. But unfortunately this newly launched Vibe C2 is only be the latest budget friendly 4G standalone phone and not intended to be a part of the Lenovo/Motorola Moto series.

The Vibe C2 has been listed on Lenovo Russian website and will launch very soon in the country. While the exact pricing and availability details are yet to be unveiled, nevertheless, we here got complete specifications for the Vibe C2 smartphone.


Features In Brief

The Lenovo Vibe C2 comes in Black and White colors. It packs a 5-inch HD screen with a 1280 x 720 pixels resolution IPS display, has 70% NTSC color gamut, 8000:1 contrast ratio for better view.

Other specs include a 1GHz Quad-Core MediaTek MT6735P processor with graphics paired by Mali-T720 GPU, 1GB of RAM, and can be bought in two different storage variants, 8GB/16GB built-in memory, which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card support.

The new Vibe C2 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Vibe UI skin on top. It measures in at 143 x 71.4 x 8.55mm and weighs 139 grams. Yes! It has a Dual SIM functionality and offers 4G LTE connectivity options adds support for WiFi 802.11, Bluetooth 4.0 LE and GPS.

The smartphone sports an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash, built-on Sony 219 1/4″ sensor and the 5MP front camera is also present for better selfies. It packs a 2750mAh battery cell and it is removable.

It seems Lenovo will be launching the Vibe C2 in other markets apart from Russia. Stay tuned for the official release date and price for the above mentioned smartphone.
