Here’s A Leaked LG G6 Device Sitting Beside The LG G5 [Image]

We already had our first look at the upcoming LG G6 smartphone a few hours back, and following that buzz, now LG has practically leaked every aspect for its actual appearance. Otherwise, are more happy to provide those pieces of the puzzle. This far, we’ve been indeed seeing some inking of the design and appearance of the unannounced LG G6 hardware, but mostly in renders. However, this newly leaked render shows what is allegedly a damn real model, sitting beside the G5. Or it could be a dummy prototype for added perspective, it is shown side-by-side the predecessor, LG G5 – which gives us a better idea of LG’s new “FullVision” display.

Which is one of LG G6’s highlight key feature of the screen. You should first know how it is offering a larger screen without actually making the smartphone larger. Reason briefed, according to its user feedback, is that people want larger screens but at the same time want to be able to easily hold the phone, even with one hand.

For that this solution of already probably familiar to those following the smartphone industry; shrink the bezels. This is one more relatively evident with the G5 and 6G together where we can see exactly the same that translates into practice. When compared, the LG G5 had a 5.3-inch display while the LG G6 is going to have a 5.7-inch screen. If you really looking at the absolute dimensions, which might not be a lot, but rather screen sizes are measured diagonally instead of sides.

The picture says many words when you see the clearly shown photo of that of the G6 on the right does have a larger screen. At the same time, though, the actual size of the G6 itself is no larger than the G5 and may, in fact, be on the shorter side. The top and bottom bezels are noticeably thinner but there’s still some bezels on the side. Unlike Samsung, LG isn’t such a strong believer in curved side edges.

One particular aspect about the LKG G6’s screen would be that its corners are rounded. It’s the smartphone’s frame that is curved at the corners while the screen is straight rectangle. Most of the time, with that new form will present issues with content, which are specifically designed for rectangular screens, is something we’ll have to admit to see.

The LG G6’s FullVision display will offers a 5.7-inch QHD+ panel, which is LG’s shorthand for a 2880-by-1440 pixels, or its new 18:9 ratio. That ratio is instrumental in enabling feature additions like having two squares on top of each other like in the camera app.
