Micromax Unite 3 With Android Lollipop, 4.7-Inch Display, Swipe Language Tech Launched At Rs 6999

Just few days ago the Unite 2 of Micromax started receiving the Android Lollipop update and here we got the successor launched as Micomax Unite 3 with native translation feature in India, and comes directly running Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. First and foremost we have to speak about the Unite 2 Android Lollipop update. Sized at around 413MB, the over the air (OTA) update brings version 5.0 Lollipop to the last year’s entry-level handsets, which the build dated April 24. You can now do it in 10 languages namely Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Oriya, Bengali and Marathi. Micromax’s new keyboard on Unite 3 uses the most popular Swipe technology, especially to let users translate a SMS text message from English to the choice and vice versa with a simple swipe. Great!

The Micromax Unite 3 camera still stands on 8MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP fixed-focus fronrt facing sensor and it packs a 2000mAh battery unit that aims to deliver up to 8 hours of talk time and up to 220 hours of standby time. Connectivity options on the Unite smartphone offers daul-SIM, 3G support, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The domestic firm also offering Vodafone consumers 500 MB of free data per month for 2 months, respectively.

This new smartphone from Micromax in its dudget range Unite series comes preloaded with apps such as Ask me, Chaatz, Clean master, Facebook, Facebook Messenger, Hotstar, Newshunt, Paytm, Quicker, Snapdeal, and SwiftKey. Best feature would be the ‘Swipe’ on Unite 3, and it won’t be the biggest competitor amongst Yu Yuphoria and Xiaomi Redmi 2 and other in that price range of Rs 6,999.
