Micromax Yu Cyanogen OS-Powered Smartphone Goes Official On Dec. 18 At Amazon [Exclusive]

Remind you about the scheduled Micromax’s event on December 18 which is set to launch Yu branded smartphone powered by Cyanogen OS as part of exclusive partnership in India. Today, Amazon India has confirmed that the Micromax YU smartphone will go on sale via Amazon.in, after its debut.

Micromax on the hand started teasing the upcoming Yu smartphone on their social channels though. It is already suggested to come with best security features and indeed highly customizable user interface. Posted a bunch of all the images by a Micromax fan.

As per the images of the smartphone, resembles the Coolpad Great God F2 which was launched in China few months ago, and claimed that this YU smartphone could come with similar specifications, including a 5.5-inch HD display, 13MP rear and 5MP front-facing cameras, packs a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek processor with MT6290 modem for 4G LTE support, 2GB of RAM, 16GB ROM with microSD card slot and powers with a 2500mAh battery.

Obviously, the unannounced Micromax YU phone will come running Android 4.4.2 Kitkat and also comes with a Snapdragon 615 variant that has FDD-LTE support.
