Android 6.0 Marshmallow-Powered HTC Desire 500 And Desire 800 Phones Expected Before One M10 Unveil

The 2016 flagship smartphone from HTC was rumored to be called the One M10 – codenamed “Perfume” with Snapdragon 820 under the hood and memory of 4GB LPDDR4 RAM, which may be introduced during MWC 2016 media event later this month. But before that, two new Android 6.0 Marshmallow running HTC Desire devices are expected ahead of the M10 launch event. Reports that comes from HTC ROM developer LlabTooFeR suggesting that the Taiwan-based manufacturer will introduce a couple of new smartphones, named HTC Desire 500 (codenamed A16) and second one to be called HTC Desire 800 (codenamed A56).

However the Desire 500 series smartphone could be the Desire 530 that leaked on a Dutch retailer’s website recently, which is by means expected to go on sale, pricing at 190 Euros (US$ 207 / INR 14099), and the specifications of the alleged smartphone is still underground.

Leakster although claims that these two Desire 500 and Desire 800 of HTC’s mid-range category will run on Android 6.0.1 with Sense UI 7.0_g on top and the hardwares will h=get updated to 8.0 UI after HTC One M10 release.

Followed by the report it is also said that HTC is planning to leave ‘_g’ ending in making it Sense 8.0_GP, but marketed with the 8.0 version only. To learn more about what the next Desire 800 series will be, we will need to wait for an official announcement within weeks or so.
