Asus has unveiled ZenFone Max (ZC550KL) back in August last year at the company’s ZenFestival in India. Now that it has officially made available to purchase in the country through online retailers including Amazon and Flipkart. Pre-orders can be made via these listed channels for Rs. 9,999 ($150) with the release date of january 14 and 15 respectively.
Specs-wise the new smartphone from Asus in ZenFone series comes with a 5.5-inch HD screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels dsiplay and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It is powered by a 1GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 410 Processor with Adreno 306 GPU. It is paired with 2GB of RAM, and holds 16GB of internal storage and expandable via microSD card slot up to 64GB.
The dual-SIM smartphone supports 4G LTE connectivity by offering 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS options. It also has a leather-like back cover which can also be used to charge other devices using an USB on-the-go (OTG) cable and it runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with Zen UI 2.0.
Most interesting features includes a 13MP main camera which has integrated with the ability of real-tone LED flash, gets Laser auto-focus sensor and comes with f/2.0 aperture and on its front-facing you will find a 5MP cam with f/2.0 aperture and 85-degree wide-angle lens.
With a massive 5000mAh battery, the ZenFone Max has downgraded the support of removable unit and available in Black and Cermaic colors.
