Last year’s Xiaomi Redmi Note successer is due and of course one of its kind is evidently in the progress. Now, it made its appearance with a complete set of specs in a new listing on the site of Chinese agency TENAA. Reveals its hardware specifications into wild.
The next generation Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 would be an incremental update, rather than being entiely a new device. Built around with a 5.5-inch display of 720p resolution, the new generation chipset model isn’t revealed as yet, but could pack the 1.2GHz quad-core CPU suggests the Snapdragon 410 SoC.
The new smartphone aprt from its chip will feature 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, which in further expandable up to 32GB via microSD. Imaging department on its back would sport a 13MP primary and a 5MP selfie camera unit, much like its predecessor.
The new Redmo Note smartphone will run Android 4.4.4 KitKat out of the box and skinned with MIUI 6 on top of it. Overall dimensions have been kept the same at 154 x 78.7 x 9.5 mm, while weight has been trimmed down from 199g to 188g.
Once launched, the Redmi Note 2 will be available to buy in rainbow of colors, including Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue and Purple, along with the usual black and white versions. Availability remains to be confirmed. Price expected at CNY799 ($128).
