Gionee as expected has today launched its flagship device Elife E8 smartphone in India market to compete with the new Moto X Style in the country. The Gionee Elife E8 is priced at INR 34,999 ($539) and will be sold exclusively via Snapdeal. Notably, this will be the first attempt made by Gionee to sell any of its devices officially through an online retailer in Indian market.
The Chinese company’s latest flagship smartphone Gionee Elife E8 has arrived into India, which was actually announced back in June. Recently, the company has promised that it will be launching it in the country and as we all are witnessing its debut officially though e-commerce website.
Gionee Elife E8 Specifications In Brief:
The new Elife E8 smartphone packs a 6-inch Quad-HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood of the phablet, it is powered by a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795) processor with PowerVR G6200 GPU, paired with 3GB of RAM. Storage of 64GB built-in can further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.
On the software front, the Gionee Elife E8 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with custom Amigo 3.1 UI on top. Camera sensor on its back is fixed with a 24-megapixel setup with dual-tone LED flash, 1 / 2.3″ sensor, 6P lenses, optical image stabilization OIS, capable of video recording at 4K resolution. On its front-facing it flaunts an 8MP selfie shooter for better photography shots.
The Gionee Elife E8 has an aluminum magnesium alloy frame, NXP Smart PA audio chip, stereo speakers with DTS support and a fingerprint sensor on the back. With its dual-SIM functionality it supports 4G LTE bands for India, offering Wi-Fi 802.11 ac/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP, GPS, USB OTG, NFC and it is backed by a 3520mAh battery.
Starting October 12, the Gionee Elife E8 will be available for purchase exclusively from Snapdeal in Golden color option.
