Google Nexus 6P India Launch Delayed To Next Month, Say Huawei

The Chinese manufacturer behind the Google’s new Nexus hardware suggests that the smartphone will go on sale in November. Huawei will start delivering units of Nexus 6P in the market starting the first week of November to meet unprecedented demand of the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow phone.

The high-end smartphone, Huawei Nexus 6P which was already available for pre-orders on Flipkart and followed by on leading range of retail stores starting October 13 has received an overwhelming response, will be shipped in batches to fullfill the honor.

P Sanjeev, vice president — sales, Huawei & Honor India — consumer business group, said, “Our supply chain is working on priority to fulfill the demand and the smartphones will be shipped out in batches. We are working closely with Flipkart and our retail partners on the availability of the smartphones to the Nexus 6P fans.” For a smoother-supply cycle, Huawei will be sending out the smartphones in batches to be delivered to Indian market starting the first week on next month.

The Google Nexus 6P was launched with two colors in India. Priced at  Rs 39,999 (32GB) and Rs 42,999 (64 GB) variants.

The two new Nexus 2015 devices were introduced with running on the latest version of Google’s mobile operating system, Marshmallow. Nexus 6P offers the stock Android interface, as well as the LG’s Nexus 5X was launched across online and offline channels at a price of Rs 31,990 for the 16GB variant and Rs 35,990 for 32GB version.

The Nexus 6P specifications goes with a 5.7-inch WQHD display, Snapdragon 810 64-bit Octa-Core CPU coupled with Adreno 430 GPU and 3GB of RAM, which is also comes with a 12.3-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash and 4K video recording capabilities, 8-megapixel selfie camera, 3,450mAh battery with fast charging capabilities, and a nexus Imprint fingerprint sensor.

Connectivity options on the Nexus 6P includes 4G support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and a USB Type-C port.
