The Nokia 8 Flagship Is Now Up For Pre-Order In The UK

HMD Global’s new Nokia 8 flagship smartphone is now available for pre-order in the United Kingdom (UK). The new Nokia flagship is a top-end phone bearing the old iconic logo and comes running Android Nougat out-of-the-box.

Starting today, the Nokia 8 is up for pre-order in the UK. You can reserve the handset in steel or “tempered blue”. HMD’s new smartphone will set you back for £499 from Carphone Warehouse, EE, Virgin Mobile and Nokia.com.

Later, the same Nokia 8 smartphone will hit store shelves on September 13th in every retailer you would expect. Yes, it includes Amazon and John Lewis, too.

The name “Nokia” is a bit of red herring. It’s now HMD Global, a young Finnish startup, using the brand for a fresh suite of Android power. The phone, if you need a refresher, comes with a 5.3-iunch, 2560×1440 pixels QHD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and 4GB of RAM.

The design, what Nokia 8 covers with is a little different. Pretty standard stuff for an Android flagship this year. The aforementioned blue and copper variants are unusual in a marketplace awash with black and silver slabs.

The bezels on the Nokia 8 are noticeable, specifically in comparison to Samsung and LG’s latest offerings. Still, it’s an attractive device running stock Android Oreo out of the box. The dual camera system on the back is also decent, but far from best in class.

It is time to jump into the market, pre-order Nokia 8 and experience the 2017’s Android operating system and dual camera photography with the power of high-end chip and RAM memory. Before you go forward for booking, please feel free to take a look at the Nokia 8 review.
