HTC Desire 10 Pro And Desire 10 Lifestyle Announced: Specs, Price, Release Date And More


After many leaks and alleged rumors HTC has officially announced a pair of Desire 10 smartphones, called HTC Desire 10 Pro and Desire 10 Lifestyle. Launched two devices with same sort of name, but with very different key features. Here is everything you need to know about.

While the HTC Desire 10 is the latest addition to HTC’s mid-range segment, one of the main aesthetic would be its design, with gold trim framing the distinct colors, giving a contrast finish reminiscent of art deco classic design. With that said, nevertheless these two devices are far different from each other.

HTC Desire 10 Pro vs. HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle


The Desire 10 Pro measures in at 156.5 x 76 x 7.86mm and weighs 165g and the HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle specs read out as 156.9 x 76.9 x 7.7mm and weighs 155g. There are some key differences between Desire 10 Pro vs. 10 Lifestyle, as the latter offers BoomSound speakers, so there are speakers in the top of the display and base of the handset which are much more admitted. The Lifestyle also offers a lanyard attachment point on the bottom.

Processor / Storage

The Desire 10 Pro comes equipped with a MediaTek Helio P10 chipset and is supported by either 3GB or 4GB RAM depending on the region where it launches and you buy it. The Desire 10 Lifestyle has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.


You will find a little difference in this occasion; the Desire 10 Pro packs a 3000mAh battery and the Desire 10 Lifestyle has a 2700mAh battery unit. Both offers fast charging capabilities.

Camera Department

On the fight back with boosted camera setup, the Desire 10 Pro sports a 20-megapixel sensor on the back, offering a f/2.2 aperture lens and supported by laser autofocusing and a dual LED flash. There’s still a 13-megapixel camera on the front, offers a wide-angle selfie capture.

While the Desire 10 Lifestyle has a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, f/2.2 lens and comes with no laser autofocus and only has a single LED flash. The Desire 10 Lifestyle has a 5-megapixel front camera, better for selfie shootouts.

Price and Release Date

The Desire 10 Lifestyle will be priced at £249 (US$ 324 / Rs. 21,760 approx.) for the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version, but the Pro will cost more, priced between the Lifestyle and the HTC 10.

The HTC Desire 10 Pro will be coming in Stone Black, Polar White, Royal Blue and Valentine Lux colors and available in November to purchase. No word on the pricing as yet.
